Step by step
- Read the book about the Shield of Arrav in Varrock Palace library and speak with Reldo.
- Choose either the Phoenix Gang or Black Arm Gang and follow that gang’s contact to join.
- Obtain your gang’s half of the shield. Have another player join the opposite gang and obtain the other half.
- Take both halves to the museum curator. He gives two certificates so the helper can share the reward.
- Each player takes one certificate to King Roald in Varrock Palace to claim their half of the reward.
The game journal confirms quest completion and the first conversation. Game progress can take up to five minutes to appear while you are logged in. Mark the remaining steps as you do them; the game does not save every substep.
